Emily Lee leads Americans to International Gymnix Senior title
Emily Lee of Los Gatos, Calif., led the American team to take the Senior Cup team title at the International Gymnix competition in Montréal, QC. Lee, of West Valley Gymnastics School, won the all around title with a total of 53.831 points. Teammate MyKayla Skinner finished with 52.631 for the silver medal, and Audrey Rousseau of Team Canada 1 was close behind for bronze with 52.532 points.
The American team of Lee, Skinner, withFaith Torres and Lilly Lippeatt, totalled 160.628 points for the Senior Cup victory. The Belgian team of Fien Enghels, Lisa Vaelen, Maellyse Brassart, and Margaux Daveloose finished with 153.330 points for silver, while Team Canada 1 consisting of Audrey Rousseau, Isabela Onyshko, and Victoria Woo took bronze with 150.429 points.
